A new iVCS3 YouTube tutorial series – Digital Jeepney shows us how it’s done

A new set of YouTube tutorials on the awesome, yet perplexing iVCS3 app have just been released. Created by Digital Jeepney, the first two videos in the series give a concise overview of the matrix and control inputs.

Check out the first video in the series below:

I was wildly excited for this app to be released, but instantly brought down to Earth once I finally started playing with it upon release. Not due to any deficiencies in the app mind you, but with the fact that my lack of synthesis knowledge left me struggling to make even basic sounds. Simply put, I had no idea what I was doing, and I couldn't control this thing.

In these videos, Hazel does a great job of explaining what the pins in the matrix do, and how they connect the various modules. Through the use of colored overlays, these descriptions make sense right away.

I'm very excited for more tutorials on iVCS3, as I know that this is the type of app that I can use in my workflow, once I figure the darn thing out. Be sure to check out both videos, and subscribe to the Digital Jeepney channel to receive all the future tutorials.
