I want to remind everyone that you will no longer be able to download your Alchemy Mobile presets after July 7th, due to the recent demise of Camel Audio. This includes both the desktop and Mobile versions, so I've included the links for both. Here is the press release they have sent on this issue:
Please Backup Your Camel Audio Software By July 7th
We would like to thank you for the support we've received over the years.
Camel Audio's plug-ins, Alchemy Mobile in-app purchases and sound libraries are no longer available for purchase. On July 7th, 2015, you will no longer be able to download any desktop products, documentation or access other information on the Camel Audio website.
We recommend you download all of your purchases and back them up now so that you can install them on new machines. To learn more, read How to Download and Backup Your Desktop Products. We have included a downloadable FAQ containing commonly asked support questions as well as product documentation.
Alchemy Mobile has now been updated to resolve an issue with restoring in-app purchases. Alchemy Mobile in-app purchases will continue to be available for download after July 7th. However, if you received mobile sound libraries for free as a result of purchasing the desktop version, then you should back them up before July 7th. To learn more, read How to Backup Your Mobile Sound Libraries.
Don’t hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about downloading and backing up your software.
Thank you for choosing to use our plug-ins and sound libraries in your music.
It's sad to see the end of such a great app. I've purchased all of the presets, and really love these sounds. As it appears that Apple has purchased Camel Audio, I'm holding out hope that somehow Apple finds a way to keep this app alive on iOS (not holding my breath, though).
Also, there is no guarantee that the current Alchemy Mobile will work once the new iOS 9 is released. So, if you can't live without Alchemy Mobile on your device, you'd be very wise to hold off on updating your OS until we hear more.
